Mariia holds a BSc in Biology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and an MSc in Neurosciences from the International Max Planck Research School in Göttingen. During her doctoral work at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, she investigated the role of ion channels in intracellular organelles — work that led to high-impact publications — and developed deep expertise in ion channel physiology and advanced imaging, which she now brings to Scitaris.
