Eugenio brings a unique blend of neuroscience expertise and bioinformatics proficiency to Scitaris’ consulting team. Eugenio’s scientific journey began with a fascination for the brain and how it makes each individual unique. He earned his Ph.D. at the Einstein Center for Neurosciences at Charité in Berlin, where he investigated thyroid hormone receptor isoforms in human brain development using single-cell RNA-seq as well as molecular biology approaches.
His scientific training spans multiple disciplines and geographies. Eugenio completed his M.Sc. in Neuroscience at the University of Oxford, where he studied alternative splicing in Parkinson’s disease and neurogenesis after stroke, and holds a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from the University of Verona, supplemented by research experience at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
With more than six years of experience in transcriptomics, single-cell multiomics, and translational neuroscience, Eugenio is passionate about turning complex datasets into actionable insights for biopharma clients.
