Since he was young, Charlie has always been the curious and most mischievous of his littermates — choosing to explore the world rather than play or meet new people. From the moment he trotted into his forever home, Charlie made it clear he was no ordinary pup. When he is not plotting his next mischief, Charlie enjoys lounging on the sofa, begging for belly rubs and playing chase with a sock. His loving, albeit slightly cheeky, nature ensures that he is cherished beyond measure — he has been told by multiple sources he is the epitome of “dackelblick” (German for puppy eyes – i.e: Dackel = dachshund; blick = look) which lets him get away with way more than he should.

Being a small breed with short legs, Charlie has inherited the voice of his ancestors. Rather than using it to alert hunters for when they have chased down and located their prey, he uses it to signal when he is not getting sufficient attention or when food/treat supplies run low. He takes his work very seriously and as Chief Barketing Officer at Scitaris, he barks at his colleagues in the office to motivate them to work more efficiently, allowing for more “belly rub” time.
