Sheng holds a PhD in cancer immunology from the University of Cambridge, where he built expertise in the subject areas of immunology and oncology, especially in the use of mouse models in preclinical research. Prior research experiences include a placement year at the Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research (NIBR) within the bacteriology department, and a summer placement at Monash University within the virology department. During his PhD, Sheng took advantage of the rich biotech start-up culture in Cambridge and gained hands-on experience in taking novel scientific concepts from idea to commercialization by taking on consulting roles in accelerator programs.

At Scitaris, he draws on his diverse scientific background to collaborate with clients, tackling complex challenges and delivering insights that drive informed decision-making.
